Do I need prior programming experience to learn AutoLISP and Python?
No prior coding experience is required. The curriculum is designed specifically for draftsmen and civil engineers, starting from the basics of scripting and progressing to building complex automation tools for your daily workflow.
What software and versions are required?
You will need a full version of AutoCAD, as AutoCAD LT does not support AutoLISP. We will also cover Python setups and specific workflow tweaks, with step-by-step installation guides provided in the first module.
Are the drafting techniques focused only on infrastructure?
While the practical case studies heavily focus on road networks, bridges, and infrastructure layouts, the automation strategies and advanced drafting workflows you learn can be applied to any specialized civil or architectural discipline.
Will I get access to the ProDraft Menu and custom scripts?
Yes. Throughout the courses, you will learn how to build your own custom toolbars similar to the ProDraft Menu. You will also receive downloadable access to the exact AutoLISP and Python scripts we develop during the lessons.

How is the course material delivered?
All video lessons are hosted online for on-demand streaming. However, all supplementary materials, practice DWG files, standard templates, and raw code scripts are fully downloadable to your local machine for offline use.
